About us

Founded in 1983 by the patriarch of the family, Roberto Weill, the Weill group of companies originated in the production, distribution, and export of fresh tropical fruits from Venezuela. Known for the high quality of our fresh fruit in general and bananas in particular, we quickly became the country’s leader in exports in that sector.

In 1990, the group decided that it was essential for our success to vertically integrate and ensure the quality and consistency of our products for our customers from the farm to their homes. That was when our tropical snack production facilities were built, and the Iselitas brand was born!

Iselitas was named after the matriarch of the family, Isela, who would become an integral part of our success and an inspiration for the entire family. In 1991, we decided it was important to expand the brand's horizons and began exporting our snack line to the United States. Over the years, Iselitas has grown and expanded its line from regular plantain chips in a single presentation to plantain chips in all kinds of shapes, flavors, and presentations, as well as yuca (cassava) and pork products (chicharrones).

Today, our brand is produced in five different countries and six different plants, assigning each one the items that best represent the quality our customers expect from us. Our products can be found in more than five different countries.

We are continually innovating and improving our products to offer our customers the best possible quality and ensure that we can maintain their loyalty. We put a lot of love and effort behind our products, and our only hope is that you enjoy and appreciate them.

Thank you very much for your support!

Best regards,
Roberto Weill Jr
